Choosing your wedding participants such as Best Man and Groomsmen
Selecting wedding outfit for you and for your buddies in the wedding party. The other Groom will probably may want to help with this.
Encouraging groomsmen and best man to get measured up early for tuxedos if this is part of your plan. It is important to communicate with these men no matter where they may be. And if you are planning attire that is casual, make sure you find out everyone's shirt sizes, find a retailer that can get you the same shirts in all sizes (if this is your idea - like hawaiian print shirts, or nice silk white shirts). Nothing is worse than picking out a style and then finding that you can't get the sizes you need for everyone!
Arranging transportation to the ceremony; your parents and his parents or other family members; for your best man (or woman if you've chosen your best girl friend to help you) and groomsmen; and of course for yourself.
Arranging transportation for the whole wedding party, from the ceremony to the reception.
Arranging for your out-of-town guests' accommodations.
Purchasing your wedding gift for your husband to be, and gifts for your groomsmen and best man.
Obtaining the marriage license
Planning the rehearsal dinner as well as preparing a toast during this time.
Preparing your speech for the reception.
And, of course...writing your vows for the ceremony!
